John F. Hobbs
BSA Executive (2010-2015) & Survivor

John has a unique insider’s perspective on the conspiracy of abuse and cover ups inside the BSA, having been a District Executive and Senior District Executive for the BSA Heart of America Council for 5 years.

John was inspired to speak out about his mistreatment by the BSA after fellow survivor Danny Shore lost his life in 2017. John has said that the BSA’s response to his disclosure of abuse within the organization was just as bad, if not worse, than the actual abuse itself. As John says “This story and my life story are all about helping the next kid.”

Dr. Avery Bratt
Psychologist

Dr. Bratt has spent his career studying not only how the brain functions, but what effects trauma, abuse, neglect and PTSD have on the brain and how to treat them effectively.

Through his decades of practice Dr. Bratt found neurofeedback to be the most productive method of treatment, allowing survivors to regain control of their dysregulated brain waves.

Dr. Bratt provides an in-depth look into how grooming, abuse and trauma affect the brain and what can be done to provide relief.
